The Elegant Universe is an Emmy award-winning three-hour, three-part educational program hosted by theoretical physicist Brian Greene which aired on PBS in 2003. The program details the history of modern theoretical physics, from Einstein to string theory. The program is easy to understand and provides an excellent view of the universe in ways you may not have ever otherwise imagined. Those of you asking me questions about wormholes and relativity may find this particularly interesting.

The videos are available in Quicktime and RealPlayer formats. Most are available on youtube as well. This is one of the best science programs to air in the last ten years. It comes highly recommended with the FYS seal of approval.
